Nowhere Man

He’s a real nowhere man
Sitting in his nowhere land

On Friday, August 10th, 2018, at 7:32 p.m. a Horizon 76 seat Air Turbo Prop Q400 took off from Seattle-Tacoma airport.  At the controls, Richard Russell, a 29-year-old Horizon Air ground crew member with no previous flight training experience.

Russell somehow managed to fly the passenger plane over the south Puget Sound for nearly 75 minutes, performing death-defying aerobatic maneuvers, while carrying on rambling conversations with air traffic controllers.
