The Perfect Game

I thought about the distinction between this young man’s well-earned triumph and people of privilege born on third base thinking they got there by hitting a triple – reaping the rewards of birthright, entitlement, and station in life; oblivious and disdainful of those unlucky in legacy and inheritance.
